SlideShow Video & Photos Maker
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (the “Terms” or “EULA”) form a legal agreement between you and Sangita Gautam (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the SlideShow Video & Photos Maker application for iOS (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Your Content
The photos, videos, music, text, and other material you bring into the App, and the slideshows you create from them, are your content. You keep all rights you already hold in it. We claim no ownership of your content, and because everything is processed on your device, we never receive, store, or access it.
You are responsible for having the right to use the content you include. By using the App, you confirm that, for every photo, video, music track, font, or other material you add to a slideshow, you either own it or have obtained all permissions and licenses needed to use it in the way you intend — including, where you share the result publicly, the right to distribute it.
2. Music and Third-Party Material
Music is the most common source of rights problems in videos, so please read this carefully.
- Adding a music track to a personal slideshow is not the same as having a licence to publish that slideshow. Posting a video containing commercial music to a social platform may infringe the rights of the copyright owner, and platforms routinely mute, block, or remove such videos.
- Tracks protected by digital rights management — including songs from Apple Music and other streaming subscriptions — cannot be exported into a video file. This is a restriction imposed by the rights holders and Apple, not a limitation we can remove.
- Any built-in music and stickers the App provides are licensed to you for use within slideshows you create with the App, including sharing those slideshows on social media and elsewhere. You may not extract, redistribute, resell, or sublicense that music on its own.
You are solely responsible for any claim arising from music or other third-party material you choose to include.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You agree not to use the App to create, store, or share content that:
- Infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- Depicts a person in a way they have not consented to, where their consent is required;
- Is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, or obscene;
- Sexually exploits or endangers a minor in any way; or
- Is intended to deceive, impersonate, or defraud another person.
You also agree not to misuse the App, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it using a method other than the interface and instructions we provide. Because your content stays on your device, we cannot monitor or moderate it — responsibility for what you create rests entirely with you.
4. Acknowledgement Regarding Apple
These Terms are concluded between you and Sangita Gautam only, and not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Sangita Gautam, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content. Apple is not a party to these Terms. You acknowledge that Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
5. License
Sangita Gautam grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store’s Usage Rules set out in Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works of the App, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
6. Subscriptions (SlideShow Pro)
The App is free to download. Using it requires a SlideShow Pro subscription, which you can try free first.
- Plans: SlideShow Pro Weekly and SlideShow Pro Yearly. The price of each plan is shown in the App and on the App Store before you subscribe, in your local currency, and may vary by country.
- Free trial: each plan starts with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Apple allows one free trial per person across both plans. If you don’t cancel during the trial, the subscription begins and you are charged when the trial ends.
- Payment: payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
- Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (week or year) at the then-current price, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Restoring: your subscription is tied to your Apple Account. If you reinstall the App or use another device you own, tap Restore purchases in the App.
- Price changes: if we change a subscription’s price, Apple will notify you in advance as required by its rules, and where required you will be asked to agree before the new price applies.
- When a subscription ends: the App’s features lock until you subscribe again. Your projects stay on your device and become available again when you resubscribe or restore.
7. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s refund policies. Sangita Gautam does not process payments and generally cannot issue refunds directly. Refund requests are handled by Apple and may be submitted at reportaproblem.apple.com. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
8. Photos, Microphone, and Music Access
With your permission, the App uses the photos and videos you pick, your microphone (only to record a voice-over), and songs you choose from your music library or the Files app, so you can build slideshows and save the result. You control each permission and can change it at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security. We handle this access as described in our Privacy Policy — in particular, your media is processed only on your device and is never uploaded, never used for advertising, and never sold.
9. Your Projects and Exported Videos
Your projects and exported videos are stored on your device. We do not keep copies and cannot recover them for you. They may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups of your device. You are responsible for backing up anything you want to keep. Projects may be lost if you uninstall the App, if your device is lost, damaged, or reset, or if the App is updated or removed from sale. We recommend exporting finished videos to your photo library and backing that library up.
Video export depends on your device’s available storage, processing power, and battery. Long or high-resolution exports may take time, may be interrupted by the operating system, or may fail on older devices. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for a failed, interrupted, or lower-quality export, or for any loss of projects or exported videos.
10. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, templates, transitions, themes, and any music or stock assets we supply, is owned by Sangita Gautam or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license granted above, no rights are transferred to you. This does not affect your ownership of your own content, as described in Section 1.
11. Maintenance and Support
Sangita Gautam is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the App, as required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for the App. For support, contact us at gautamsangita372@gmail.com.
12. Warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any) for the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be Sangita Gautam’s sole responsibility.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sangita Gautam will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, projects, or exported videos, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App and any subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sangita Gautam from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of content you create, store, or share using the App, or out of your breach of these Terms — including any claim that your content infringes a third party’s rights.
15. Product Claims
Sangita Gautam, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and/or use of the App, including but not limited to: (a) product-liability claims; (b) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer-protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
16. Intellectual Property Claims
In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, Sangita Gautam, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim, to the extent required by these Terms.
17. Legal Compliance and Export
You represent and warrant that (a) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (b) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable laws when using the App.
18. Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of their provisions. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies. Sections relating to your content, intellectual property, warranties, liability, and indemnification survive termination.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where local consumer-protection laws require otherwise. This does not affect the application of mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence.
