Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Sangita Gautam (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the SlideShow Video & Photos Maker mobile application for iOS (the “App”).

The short version: the App does not collect any personal data. Your photos, videos, music and voice recordings never leave your device unless you choose to share a finished movie. There are no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking and no accounts.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal data through the App. The App has no user accounts, does not send your content or usage to us, and contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking software.

The App stores the following only on your device, in storage that belongs to the App:

• Your slideshow projects and their settings (mood, music choice, length, shape, text and stickers);
• Copies of the photos, videos and audio files you add to a project, and any voice-over you record;
• Movies you export; and
• A few app preferences, such as whether you have seen the introduction.

This information is never sent to us or to anyone else by the App.

2. Your Photos, Videos, and Music

All slideshow creation, editing, preview and video rendering happens entirely on your device. We do not upload, copy, transmit, collect or store your photos, videos, music or recordings, and we have no way to view them. We do not analyze your media for advertising, profiling, facial recognition or any similar purpose.

3. Device Permissions

The App asks only for what a feature needs, and only when you use that feature. You can change any permission in Settings → Privacy & Security.

• Photos (choosing media) — you pick photos and videos with Apple’s photo picker. The App receives only the items you select and does not need access to your whole library.
• Photos (saving) — “add only” access, so the App can save a finished movie to your library when you tap Save. It cannot read your library with this permission.
• Microphone — only when you record a voice-over. The recording is saved inside your project on your device.
• Media & Apple Music — only when you choose a song from your music library. Copy-protected songs, including songs from Apple Music, cannot be used.
• Files — when you choose an audio file, the App receives only that file.

The App does not use your camera, location, contacts or notifications.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

SlideShow Pro subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details. The App asks Apple, on your device, whether you have an active subscription so it can unlock its features. Apple’s handling of your purchase is described in Apple’s privacy policy.

5. Sharing Your Movies

When you choose to share a movie — for example through the iOS share sheet, to Instagram, or by saving it to Photos — the movie is handed to the app or service you choose. From then on, that service’s own privacy policy applies. We are not involved in that transfer and receive nothing from it.

6. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking

The App shows no advertising and contains no analytics or crash-reporting services. It does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, so it does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission. We do not sell, rent or share personal information, because the App does not collect any.

7. Storage and Deletion

Your projects and movies stay in the App’s storage on your device until you remove them.

• Deleting a project in the App removes it, including the copies of media it used. Your original photos and videos in your library are not affected.
• Deleting the App removes all of its projects and movies from the device. Movies you saved to your photo library stay there.
• Like other app data, your projects may be included in backups of your device that you make with iCloud or a computer. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple.

8. When You Contact Us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you, and keep it only as long as needed to help you. You can ask us to delete it at any time. Our website is hosted by Google Firebase Hosting, which may record standard technical information (such as IP addresses) to operate and secure the site.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act give you rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Because the App does not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to access or delete beyond any emails you have sent us. To make a request about those, contact us at the address below.

10. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

11. Security

Your content is protected by the security of your device, including iOS app sandboxing and your device passcode. Because we do not receive your content, it is not exposed to a server breach on our side.

12. Changes to This Policy

If the App ever starts to collect or share information, we will update this policy before that change takes effect and revise the “Last updated” date above.
